Menopause
Dr. Ana Morales provides care for women in menopause on a regular basis. Menopausal symptoms generally starts around the age of 50 and lasts for one to five years. A simple blood test can measure your hormones to determine if you are experiencing menopause.
The most basic care includes an annual breast exam, pelvic exam, Pap smear, mammogram, and cholesterol test. Dr. Morales may also recommend a screening for heart disease, colon cancer, and bone density loss. If necessary, she can recommend ways to treat menopause symptoms.
